Special Guest Jamela & Jasmine Davis talks One on One with A.L. Cooper about the Struggles of Having Chronic Illness .
I’m Jamela & my twin sister is Jasmine. We actually have Rheumatoid Arthritis & Lupus since we were 8 & 6yrs old. When we were younger we were ambassadors of the Arthritis foundation, we spoke at every event, met the senator, mayors, & celebs. Now we are 21yrs old & we started a movement on instagram call #ChronicGirlz & #illnessGang. Basically it’s for people with chronic illnesses to not be ashamed of their illnesses but to flaunt it so we have gained close to a thousand people from all over the world making fansigns & coming out. The name #ChronicGirlz was inspired by our little sisters the OMG Girlz because as entertainers they stand for being strong & not being afraid to be who you are & that’s what being a #ChronicGirlz is all about. Of course we couldn’t forget about the guys so instead of Taylor Gang or Hustle Gang we came up with #illnessGang. Now that it so big we had to start a nonprofit foundation Chronic People need Luv 2. We are going to start touring different schools here in Georgia to talk about #ChronicGirlz, we have merchandise about to drop, & also we have a YouTube channel coming out. We would also like to thank our amazing mom because she is so strong & does it all on her own from pushing both our wheelchairs at six flags to late night ER visits & etc. I could go on & on but she is unbelievable & a blessing. Thanks for listening. Our instagrams are @twinjazz2 & @twinmela Twitter: @twinjazz2 & @jamela_thetwinz
